The children will be given spellings every Monday to practise and they will be tested on a Friday. We also encourage them to go onto Spelling Shed. The assignments set are linked each week to their spellings.

Times tables

During the summer term the children will carry out the Yr4 National Times Table Check.

We encourage children to practise times tables and use TTRS (Times Table Rockstars) as much as possible as they will need to know all tables up to 12 x table and will only get 6 seconds to answer each question.

Reading Books

We encourage you to please read at home as much as possible with your child.  Their books will be changed as and when returned but we do recommend they change their books weekly unless their book is a longer text.

Thank You
