Pysanka Project
Our school was selected to represent Knowsley as part of the Pysanka Project. This involved painting an egg in the Ukranian style which was to be displayed at Liverpool One. One of our parents from Ukraine came in to support the pupils and artist Jo Eyles with ideas linked to Ukranian culture to be displayed on the egg.
Ukranian Event May 2023
Children and parents attended Kirkby library to learn more about the Ukraine and to participate in Ukrainian dancing and food tasting.
Multi-Language
Our year three pupils had the opportunity to perform at the Multi-language event in Kirkby library. Parents were invited and had the opportunity to engage in dancing and food tasting from countries from around the world.
