Our school has pledged to become a School of Sanctuary supporting organisation in September 2022.
Fundraising
To link with World Values Day to raise money for SHARE Knowsley, the school council came up with the idea for each class to choose a country linked to a migration journey from each year group. On the 19th October 2023 each child can come to school in their own clothes in the colours of the flag of their chosen country and make a donation to the charity. Each class will complete activities linked to their chosen country that day and share what they have learnt with the rest of the school in a celebration assembly at the end of the day.
